Nucco is a communications and experience agency that operates independently from its owner UNIT9 Group. What we're looking for

We’re looking for an exceptional self-starter to lead new business at Nucco. 

We need someone who can build on our existing pitch win rate 58%, and new business revenues of £1.5M from UK and EU.  New business includes managing our lead-generation relationships, nurturing new conversations into briefs and opportunities, leading responses and pitches, and getting the best out of everyone involved in our creds and winning new business.  You will be a natural networker and communicator who is curious about business and people.  You will naturally be able to connect Nucco’s services to clients’ problems through value propositions.

Reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for all aspects of new business - this includes sales strategy, lead generation, proposals, RFIs/RFPs and pitching.

As a successful creative services new-business leader, you’ll already play an influential new business role at an established or up-and-coming agency.  You’ll perhaps be ready to grasp the opportunity to create and build a new-business team, where at the moment you might be part of that team.

The new business role means you will work with many areas of the agency including marketing, client services, production and creative.  You will also need to liaise as appropriate with your counterparts in other UNIT9 Group companies and the many partners we work with.


What you’ll do day to day

  • Be accountable for new business revenue target

  • Plan new business strategy

  • Win new business

  • Nurture opportunities

  • Manage contacts through Hubspot marketing suite including email automation

  • Liaise with lead generation partners to develop new opportunities

  • Co-ordinate new business with marketing activity to make both more effective

  • Lead pitches and new business development processes

  • Improve new business ways of working and process

  • Promote new business internally

  • Co-ordinate with UNIT9 Group as required

  • Track record of winning digital communications and experiences - for example digital marcomms, content, websites, film & video communication, AR & VR

Reward

  • Base salary of £50-70k per annum depending on experience, plus a commission structure TBA

Senior Account Manager

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager/Junior Account Director able to own key client accounts at Nucco.  Reporting to the Client Services Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of assigned client relationships. 

As a respected client services lead, you’ll already play a SAM/JAD role at an established or up-and-coming agency.  You’ll be ready to take the opportunity to retain and grow our clients into long-term valuable relationships.

We hope your experience will help evolve our approach as we focus on being a valued partner to our clients.  You will work alongside the CSD, Head of Production, the Head of Creative and the BD team to support pitches and deliver award-winning work. You’ll be comfortable thinking on your feet as you represent Nucco to some of the world’s leading brands while keeping the agency, and your team focussed on valued client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have good experience of working on digital projects on different platforms and for large brands, some experience working on interactive projects and an interest in VR. Ideally at least 4 years of agency experience, managing clients and working with diverse and creative teams. 

With an interest for storytelling and innovation, you will be a fast learner and natural problem solver, with a good sense of humour.

What you’ll do day to day

You will listen, learn and proactively offer recommendations to existing clients on how Nucco can support them, while you also take responsibility for the design, development and delivery of work that is already in play. You will enjoy developing high-quality professional relationships and have a reputation as someone who is committed to learn and understand both a client’s challenges and the constantly expanding capabilities of your colleagues.

Skills and abilities you’ll need

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to identify and close new opportunities within client relationships

  • Account Management experience (at least 4 years) within the digital services or products space, ideally working on complex value propositions, involving multiple services and deliverables 

  •  A natural networker and a people person, who appreciates the value of cultivating long-lasting relationships based on performance and trust 

  • A problem-solver focused on continuous improvement, with a record of delivering beneficial solutions derived from demonstrable strategic thinking abilities 

  • A structured approach when solving complex problems and synthesizing results (experience with different frameworks and techniques for problem solving would be ideal) 

  • Comfortable engaging with business performance and finance materials including financial management documents, new business tracking systems (CRMs) and project management/tracking software(such as Paprika) 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude to foster long term relationships and build consensus

  • Strong presentation development skills and comfortable with presenting to audiences of all sizes and levels of expertise 

  • Agency experience or experience in a similar role

  • Experience managing digital / interactive projects and both ATL and BTL campaigns

  • Experience working on £300K plus budgets

  • BA level degree in a relevant subject is a plus but not a prerequisite

Salary range: £38,000-£42,000

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an exceptional Producer to join our production team on a permanent basis, reporting to the Production Partner and managing multiple projects at the same time. The ideal candidate will have good experience of working on video projects and campaigns on different platforms and for large brands, some experience working on interactive projects and apps is a plus. Ideally at least 5 years of agency experience, client-facing and managing teams. Able to juggle multiple deliverables on tight deadlines and able to get the job done at the highest standards. As a Producer you will be collaborative, hands-on and extremely organised, you will be in charge of managing multiple projects, making sure everyone is working to the best of their abilities while staying within time and budget constraints. With an interest in storytelling and innovation, you will be a fast learner and natural problem solver, with a good sense of humour.

What you’ll do day to day

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting Client Services during the pitching process by providing budgetary and timeline forecasts.

  • Assisting Client Services and Biz Dev during the pitching process by supporting on detailing project scope and deliverables.

  • Ensuring the work meets the Client’s objectives and the Client is happy with the working relationship.

  • Managing and taking responsibility for the project budget and scope.

  • Generating and maintaining individual project schedules.

  • Managing any project related escalations (both internal and client issues)

  • Securing contractual project sign-off (SOW, CO’s and T&C’s)

  • Supporting Client Services on payment terms and schedules with the Client (and with the Nucco financial team)

  • You will develop project methodology and scope effort to fit within budget and schedule.

  • Building teams, booking resources and helping with resourcing team members whenever necessary.

  • Ensuring that all objectives / deliverables of the project are met within budget and agreed timeline.

  • Closely monitor project progress against the agreed scope of work - this includes:

    ○ Tracking workflow

    ○ Tracking crew utilization

    ○ Tracking versioning

    ○ Tracking client feedback.

  • Risk Assessment; the evaluation and mitigation of project risk throughout the production cycle. Hold regular meetings with each project team and arrange milestone meetings with senior staff.

  • Serving as the main point of coordination and contact between the day-to-day production team and the project's senior/management staff.

  • Forecasting delays, risks, budgetary implications or other shortfalls and communicating issues to Client Services / Executive Producer as necessary.

  • Review and sign off on project plans, estimates and schedules.

  • Supervising project closure to ensure a post mortem meeting is held in order to identify areas of future improvement

  • Ensure all required marketing material is provided to the Marketing team for the construction of their case study.

  • All project material is carefully archived.

  • You will participate in the development of new business, including; meetings, taking briefs, preparing pitch budgets and proposals etc.

  • Pushing the team to reach Nucco’s standards on craft and quality.

  • Ensuring the team follows the Nucco production process.

  • Delivering projects on time and budget and with quality.

  • Mentoring and training of Producers, Project Managers & Production Assistants

  • Support in the recruitment of new Nucco team members when required

  • Building relationships with external suppliers and vendors.

  • Creating a positive team spirit / resolve any conflicts amongst production team members.

  • Contributing to the ongoing optimisation of Nucco’s production tools and processes.

Skills and abilities you’ll need

  • At least 5 years of agency experience or production studio experience in a similar role is a must.

  • Experience managing video projects and both ATL and BTL campaigns

  • Experience working on £50K+ plus budgets

  • Project management qualifications are a plus.

  • Knowledge of softwares such as Jira and Basecamp, knowledge of project management tools such as Paprika, Instagantt / Asana, Teamdeck, Slack, etc. Experience using Google suite tools and templates.

  • BA level degree in a relevant subject is a plus.

What we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced digital content Creative Director with experience in the financial services, professional services, education and technology sectors.

You must have a portfolio of award-winning elegant pieces that span digital content production, animation, social and editorial content.

You’ll need to be very hands-on and able to deliver concepts on your own, yet still able to develop the work of art directors, designers and outsourced production teams.

You’ll also need to be comfortable dealing directly with clients and relish the opportunity to create best-in-class work, no matter how complicated the audience messaging or business sector.

With clients based in both Europe and the US, this is a high visibility role. So, you will also need to be an organised, natural project leader and a true partner to the strategy, production and client management teams.

With responsibility for both concept development and executional excellence you’ll need to be entirely fluent in the Adobe creative suite and have experience of all stages of the design, animation and film process.

What you’ll do day-to-day

  • Work with the Creative Partner and one other Creative Director to lead the creative output of Nucco.

  • Be accountable for the development, production and delivery of “beautifully simple” concepts and design.

  • Work with production and account management teams to deliver world-class innovative projects on time and in budgets

  • Work with the new business team to prepare pitch-winning work that continues our current growth.

  • Mentor and guide less experienced creative team members.

  • Work directly with our in-house animation and editorial team, and outsourced production partners to ensure our creative reputation grows further.
